MEET THE FAMILY
Steve Winterburn
Director and Artist
With over 30 years of experience Steve founded Yorkshire Fine Arts thanks to his wealth of knowledge and experience. Steve is self-taught and comes from the fine art industry, his pieces have been sold internationally, from London to Monte Carlo and Barbados.


His work has been exhibited and sold in some of the most prestigious galleries such as The Halcyon, Harrods, Sotheby’s and Christie’s. Steve’s career started out as a wildlife artist, his passion for the animals lead him the be a part of conservation for many years as a trustee for Care for the Wild International. During this time, Steve was able to travel all over the world to get reference and inspiration for his art.
Steve takes part in all aspects of the processes undertaken at Yorkshire Fine Arts, but predominantly focus’s his time and energy sculpting.
Joy Winterburn
Director and PA
As a co-founder of Yorkshire Fine Arts and devoted mother, Joy rarely gets any free time. Joy oversees the administration for the company, for many she is the first point of contact.


She is the CPC transport manager for the business when it comes to the delivery and coordination of some of the artwork.
Joy also holds labourer & visitor Health & Safety CSCS cards for site work. But most importantly she is the lost wax pattern caster and mould maker.
Ben Winterburn
Engineer and 3D Technician
Yorkshire Fine Arts has been a proud sponsor of the local Rugby union team Hull Ionians, for which Ben played for at National 1, making his first team debut at just 17. Ben has also represented the county playing on the Yorkshire team, scoring tries on both occasions the team made it to Twickenham.


He also received higher honours for north England at u18s and u20s. Ben is also a keen gardener and landscaper and keeps the gardens around Yorkshire Fine Arts looking colourful.
Bens main roles within the company include; Fabrication, furnace operator, caster, bronze assembly and finisher. Ben also runs all the in house 3D equipment and deals with the media.
Roxy Winterburn
Artist and Chemist
Roxy studied art at A Level, however went onto university to study Chemistry with forensic science and toxicology. After finishing university with a first class honours, she decided to continue in the family business and further explore her art.


Roxy has travelled with her Dad, and as an Advanced open water diver, has dived in many places which inspires her art. Roxy enjoys flying, after many years with the air cadets she is working towards her PPL (private pilot’s license), as well as working on her classic VW beetle.
Alongside sculpting, Roxy is wax-pattern assembler and does the patination of the finished bronzes, and designer.
David Winterburn
On-Site Specialist
David has over 20 years experience in the building industry,
and 10 years experience in the welding engineering industry.


His qualifications include :-
Nebosh Level 3 in Occupational Health & Safety
Nebosh Level 3 in Construction
SMSTS – Site Management Safety Training Scheme
PTLLS – Teacher Training
